In her biography of the Macdonald sisters, Judith Flanders says this drawing of 1858, contains portraits of all of the sisters:
Alice (later Alice Kipling, mother of poet Rudjard)as the woman with buttons on her dress;
Edie the small child;
Georgie (later Georgie Burne-Jones) at the centre;
Agnes (later Edward Poynter's wife)on the balcony at the left;
Louie (later Louise Baldwin, mother of PM Stanley Baldwin) at left with a rabbit.
